StuPa Election 2026

When and where will voting take place?

On January 27 and 28, the in-person ballot will be held for the election of the 56th Student Parliament.

There are two polling stations for the election:

  • Students of the departments Architecture (A) and Spatial and Environmental Planning (RU): Building 1, Room U 62,
  • All other students: Building 46, Room 225 (media room, exit from the foyer toward the cafeteria).

The polling stations will be open on both days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Important:

Students of departments A and RU may vote only at the polling station in Building 1. Voting in Building 46 is not permitted for them. The same applies conversely to all other students.

How does voting work and who is standing for election?

Since there was only one nomination submitted, the election will be conducted according to the principles of majority voting without being bound to the nominated candidates and without the right of cumulative voting. In addition to the candidates of the nomination

"Experience in the Student Parliament"

  • Bernhard Tim Kohnle (Department of Mathematics)
  • Kilian Hauck (Department RU)
  • Laura Menne (Department RU)

all students are eligible for election who were entered in the register of eligible voters as of the reference date of January 7.

Voting is carried out by marking the nominated candidates or by additionally entering eligible voters on the ballot paper. No more people may be marked or additionally entered than the number of seats to be allocated (13).
