Eloise Cooper (Thomasin McKenzie) lives with her grandmother in Cornwall and over the years has developed a fondness for the music and style of the Swinging Sixties in London.
When Ellie gets a place at the London College of Fashion, she moves to London. That's where it starts: She seems to travel back in time at night and immerse herself in 1960s London.
During her dreams, Ellie meets an imposing singer named Sadie (Anya Taylor-Joy). From her time travels, and especially from Sadie, Ellie draws inspiration for her fashion designs.
But these are all just dreams - aren't they?
