Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence) is an Uber driver and bartender. She is on the verge of bankruptcy and accepts an offer from a married couple. Her son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman) is about to go to university and has very low self-confidence. His parents hope that Maddie can help him build up his self-confidence. The question now is what strategies she will use. How will Maddie go about it?
